I load some 20ga shells that cost me close to $6 EACH. I can also load some 12ga 3.5" shells that cost over $10 EACH.
On the flip side I can load buck shot for about 20 - 25 cents a round.

I went into our local Scheels store today. They had all the popular pistol ammunition you could imagine. .22, .22 mag, .380, 9mm, .357, .44, .45, etc. All kinds of .223/5.56, .308 and a few other rifle calibers. It's not going anywhere at the prices I saw. Hardly anyone in the ammo aisles. There were no primers. Some powder and all the bullets you could want in every caliber. Plenty of shot and wads, but again, no shotgun primers.

went to the Gun Barrel in Elkhorn WI yesterday https://elkhorngunbarrel.com/they had lots of ammo at what I would call fair prices about 22 dollars a 50 round box of 9mm they have a lot of some things , they had a decent price on 308win core-lock 180gr if any of you around the area need them lots of guns , nice store no primers and none of the powder I was looking for. only 22lr they had for hollow points was that yellow box Winchester stuff they had 22WMR and 17HMR and some round nose 22lr but not much for game loads in 22lr
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I never pay retail for ammo. Too expensive. How do you get it ? I build up and use reward points.

Last I checked, the Scheels in Bismarck eliminated their primer display indefinitely, and I've only seen a few different powders available there, all being Vitavorhi.
