I remember that feeling down in Arizona strolling into a set area then the trap was gone on a drag it was oh boy where’s he at. LOL walked by a few and never seen them on the way in.

So you had a tree climber too. I could not believe it, when I approached he climbed up a branchless tree with a trap on his front foot and a drag with a brick threaded on the chain. Up he went. Had to shinny up to get to the first branch AFTER I shot him.........jk

Off topic but I remember distinctly...checking my traps in the dark before work and walking into a catch circle of a caught coyote. Sucker tried taking a bite of my leg ....thank goodness for hip boots.

Had a buddy walk up on a coon in a cage trap in the dark while duck hunting it was a hoot.
