I’m wonder the same thing , I didn’t go just posting what I seen on the website . The times I have went to the sale I have never seen anyone do a no sale and walk out , there was a couple times I sold there years ago I said no and then they gave me what I wanted but that’s when people want it .

Thank you for posting the results. Was there any discussion by buyers and etc. regarding the recent invasion and its impact on prices?

That’s not hide but castor, I’m guessing 6.57 lbs.

Wonder if the high cat and coyote were Tennessee caught? High cat at Kentucky sale the same day was 64.00 and high coyote was 17.00. Coyotes averaged less than 5.00.

Don't know where the high cat and coyote came from. The coyote was as good as it ever gets here. Maybe one like that every year or two. I did not see the cat when it sold. Most coon and many coyotes did not sale at all. More high quality on the fur put-up than I have ever seen at one of our sales. It is a shame that all the pride and know how that went into that fur was not rewarded with better prices. But trappers trap. That is just what we do.

If I remember correctly Tommie, there were about 24 tables there. But most of the tables had a whole bunch of fur. Like I said the folks that trapped, trapped hard, and put up a lot of good fur. I finally remembered about the $95.00 cat that sold there. I am sure it belonged to Steve Phillips, the famous lure maker from Alabama. It was beautifully striped and could probably have brought at least twice that much on line in the round. Not as many tables as in the past for sure, but a lot of fur and a LARGE amount that did not sale.
