Scuba divers understand that compressed gases made smaller with the pressure will pass into tissue and if you stay down to long or go past your no decompression limits can get the bends. When you come up if tissues are saturated the gas expands into bubbles, not good. Sometimes they can fix it in a chamber. I would be scared the technician would be texting and mess it up.

No smoking in the chamber. Don’t forget to afterwards do ear candling.
Here come the bends!

A friend of mine just got back from Colorado where he went to a treatment facility for his health. He came over for a visit yesterday and was telling me about it.
He bought one of those chambers and goes in everyday for 1 hour. He has a concentrator that makes 90-95% oxygen.

Anyways, he says it’s been really good for him and his health.

They gave my wife some treatments with it to help with a severe bone infection and accompanying skin ulcers that wouldn't heal....
Didn't help her at all.

Yeah I did. It helped me a lot.
That and running traps was my therapy.
It made my ears pop and raised my blood O2 quite a bit.

When I was prescribed, I was spooked never knowing of it.
Then research found that NFL Hines Ward had one in his home.
Figured if the rich jock could do it I could too.

Here's the precautions to take...

There are others to read too, I'd check them out if I was going to do it.

I know nothing about hyperbarics but I know a lot about o2 blood levels, what was your o2 level before the treatment? What was it after? If you were in the 80's or lower simple ox concentrater at 2 liters should put you into the 90's with about 6 or 8 deep breaths. 98 is great for healthy humans even athletes. If it drops out quickly you've got lung problems. Simple 25 dollar oxcimeter available at any CVS, Walgreens will keep you informed. Personally I'd rather use a concentrater than pressurized gas in my whole body. Hope your dealing with an MD and not some scam guy, take heed about what the diver guy said. Just my opinion of course.
Case

Edit for clarification, Sorry Tac-20 I thought I was responding to you. Just realized it wasn't, my apologies for jumping in.

My wife took these treatments for awhile for issues she was having with her lower intestine after radiation for cancer. At the time we would have tried just about anything. You have to take treatments consistently for a number of weeks even months for it to help. So you have to be prepared to go everyday for awhile for it to help. Her schedule was Monday thru Friday for I want to say 45 treatments. When we met with the doctor he told us not to expect results until at least 30 treatments. She could never get enough treatments in a row before another issue came up meaning another hospitalization. I would not hesitate to do it as long you can commit to going. Very little danger and if it helps it is a win.
