The Turkey we see " up here" are from Spring through Fall. Guess we are are on the Northern fringes of their habitat like we are on the Southern fringes of the Canadian Lynx In the winter and other times of the year they will be where the food is.They will disappear for months at a time.

At night time roasting in those tall pine trees they are safe from coyotes where deer can't fly.
