My 45/70 is more then enough to hang onto thanks.

Still got it Monster Toms. Figure oughta work good on a feral pig. I bought others that I enjoy shooting better though.

454 casull produces about 1900 ft pounds of energy at the muzzle.
375 h and h produces over 4000.
i don't think a 454 would be a good choice for elephants hippos or rhinos.

I have shot a derriger 45-70 one handed. The barrel is only 2" longer than the bullet. That little bugger is hard to hold on to.

With that long barrel and the comp that appears to be off of a tank.........that gun wouldn't be all that hateful to shoot, if it's got grips that fit your hand.
I'm not a big pistol guy. But I've shot a .375 Win Contender, a S&W Performance Center .460 S&W and a .458 Win Mag Encore pistol. The .458 Win Mag was like a running fist punch to the palm. But it wasn't NEARLY as bad as my own Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag with the wood, factory grips.

That guy has a video of a 50 cal blowing up on him. Lucky to be alive. It’s amazing that he is still brave enough to shoot those canons.
Looks like he needs another year;-)
