wish I could say you were going to do much better for price 25 would have been fair 3 years ago

it is a good powder very popular with 223 and 308 service rifle shooters

a varmint and target powder

if your loading something like 223 it is good stuff

I use in 22/250, .223 and .243. I have plenty, but would pick this up if anyone close needs any.

I use Varget quite a lot and it's nice to know there's some around. But, I'm not ready to pay that much... yet.

I just gave $45 for a pound , didn’t want to but haven’t seen any here for quite a while . I like the powder for my .243 , I’ve been using 748 Winchester ball powder for my .222 and .223 . Here lately I can’t seem to find it either .

That's cheap in today's market. It's close to $50/lb in most stores. By the time you buy online and pay shipping and hazmat it comes out to more than that. It'll be a long time before it comes back down in price. Those ships have sailed, just like $20/1k primers won't be coming back

I could only find it one place online in all of Canada and it was 70 bucks a pound plus shipping and a limit of 2 lbs per customer!

They didn't have much. Some Leverlution, CFE223, some H1000 and 1# of 700x, I believe.

I am seeing CFE 223 available more than anything , has me thinking about trying it for 223 and 308 and keeping my 4895 for M1 rounds

Considering the world we live in, that doesn't sound too bad to me. I've got plenty, but if I needed some, I'd pay it

Thanks for looking Brian. If you see some Benchmark let me know. I've got a build that should show up shortly and I'd really like to try some with it.

Well, I should have known. I was at the store when they opened the doors and gunpowder was sold out.

I have 2 lbs of Varget I haven't cracked the cap on yet... Not sure why I'm saving it. I'd trade it for a couple pounds of H1000 in a heartbeat though.

I know one reason Varget is so popular is its temp stability... Same with H1000. Lol
