Joe Meek the merry mountain man by Stanley Vestal, Fur Hunters of the Far West by Alexander Ross (A first hand account written just as the beaver trade played out).
Another rare one is the "Adventures and Sufferings of John R Jewitt" by Hillary Stewart Tells the firsthand account of John Jewitt who was a captive and slave of the Nootkas for 3 years. Time frame is a few years before Lewis and Clark visit the area.

Way-to-yah and The Taos Trail by Lewis Gerrard Life in the Far West by Ruxton Fandango by Michael Zimmerman Across The Wide Missouri by Bernard de Voto John Colter by David Lavender Etienne Provost by Jack B. Tykal The Way West by A. B. Guthrie The American Fur Trade In The Far West by Hiram Matrin Chittenden (a 3 volume set) Joe Meek The Merry Mountian Man by Stanley Vestal Old Bill Williams by Favour The Adventures Of Captian Bonneville by Washington Irving Terry Johnson made a historical fiction set of books about the mountian man era that's decent reading and historically correct. You've read Revanant, You owe it to yourself to get and read a copy of Lord Grizzly by Fredrick Manfred. It's old but yet another version of the Hugh Glass ordeal. Very good read.
That ought to get you started. Read these up and I'll give ya some more.

If you saw the revenant movie you owe it to yourself to read the true account of Hugh Glass's life, it didn't need to be hollywoodized like they did, it's incredible enough. I would also encourage you to read some books about Jedediah Smith, Tom Fitzpatrick, James Clyman, and one of the most remarkable mountain men of all, John Colter. Incredible life. You may get hooked on this like I have. I have no interest in fictional books about the mountain men, but if there's a nonfiction account on that era of history that I haven't read, it's because I haven't found it!

You might like “the great salt lake trail” by W. F. Cody and Henry Inman That's an awesome book, but not about the mountain men. Their travels were well after the mountain man period was over.
