1.) #2 ½ US Newhouse Trap. Older straight teeth model. Strong spring that is stamped but light. Can make out trap has a 3 line stamp but difficult. Pan reads at least 95%. “Y” in “COMMUNITY” is light. Nice ring and chain. Trap has nice brown patina. Pics on request. . Asking $125.00.

2.) #81 US Newhouse Closed Webbed jaws trap. Two patent date model. Nice patina. Pan reads close to 100%. Chain has wedge and belt hook. Strong spring is stamped but light and not crisp. Mostly legible. Asking $150.00. (SOLD)

3.) 4.) Two Different Model #3 Canadian Newhouse double longspring traps. The first trap has “MADE IN CANADA” on top of pan. Not original trap ring. The trap had overall salt and pepper pitting. Pan stamping mostly legible but very light. Strong springs. A few small chop marks on top of jaws. Both springs stamped but light. Can read second line of spring stamps ends in “ONT”. Second trap has more common pan stamp. The trap has a light grey patina and may have been cleaned. The pan rivet was replaced with a nail head. Pan is mostly legible with the “ #3 “ being light. Both springs stamped but light and mostly legible. Asking $225.00 for both traps.


5.) # 1 1/2 US Newhouse Single Longspring Trap. Ring is bent. Chain has belt hook and wedge. Nice patina. Very nice trap. Asking $50.

6.) #1 Canadian Newhouse single longspring trap. Trappers mark on bottom of frame. Chain has wedge and belt hook. Pan reads 100%. Spring stamped and mostly legible. Two line stamp (S.NEWHOUSE , ONEIDA COMMUNITY) Strong spring. Asking $100.00

7.) #1 Canadian Newhouse single longspring trap. Chain has belt hook and wedge. Pan reads close to 100% with part of (ONEIDA) light.. Ring slightly bent. Spring stamped but very light and mostly illegible. Three line stamp. Can make out part of second and third line but have to hold on an angle. Asking $80.00

8.) Canadian Newhouse #4 Double Longspring Trap. Incorrrect chain. Pan hard to read. One spring not stamped. The other spring has the large ONT spring stamp that is mostly legible. Hard to find stamping. Asking $125.00

9.) Canadian Newhouse #4 double longspring trap. Nice chain and ring. Strong springs. Overall salt and pepper pitting. Pan reads close to 100%. One spring stamped but very light. Other spring has large “ONT” spring stamp. Spring reads about 50% legible but light.

10.) Canadian #3 Double Longspring Trap.Trap may have been cleaned. “MADE IN CANADA” on top of pan. Nice chain and ring. Most of pan legible. End of “COMMUNITY” light. One spring about 75% legible but light. Other spring mostly illegible unless magnify.. Three small file marks on bottom underneath of pan, two letter "F" 's on bottom and two file marks on top of cross as trapper's marks. Asking $140.00.

11. Two #4 Canadian Newhouse traps. Some pitting on traps. Pans close to 100%. Strong springs. Nice chains and rings. Both sets of springs stamped but very light. Second line ends "LTD" and third line "MADE IN CANADA". Asking $120.00 each.
