When Biden cancelled Keystone and put his stamp of approval on Nord Strom pipeline, he opened the door for Putin to finance his invasion of Ukraine. Biden caused the US to buy petroleum from Russia. You will never hear that from the corrupt main stream media. As of today, Biden has yet to criticize or condemn the Russian pipeline. Germany is the first country to refuse to buy from Russia.
For those who criticized anyone who called Putin smart, there's one thing I know one thing about Putin. I don't know if he's very smart, but he's a lot smarter than Joe Biden.

Yes. Any acceptance of Ukraine into the EU will take years and must be approved by ALL 27 members. Not likely to ever happen

Separate entities. However... "The EU and NATO have 27 and 30 member states, respectively — of which 21 are members of both. Another four NATO members are EU applicants—Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Turkey..." You can be a member of one without joining the other... But for the most part they do seem to go hand in hand. Mike

Yes, the EU is not NATO, it's an economic union, not a defense one There is a mutual defense clause that EU members are bound by. "MUTUAL DEFENCE CLAUSE The Treaty of Lisbon strengthens the solidarity between EU countries in dealing with external threats by introducing a mutual defence clause (Article 42(7) of the Treaty on European Union). This clause provides that if an EU country is the victim of armed aggression on its territory, the other EU countries have an obligation to aid and assist it by all the means in their power, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. This obligation of mutual defence is binding on all EU countries." https://eur-lex.europa.eu/summary/glossary/mutual_defence.htmlKeith

Fox news says we are buying 595,000 barrels of crude from Russia each day. At $100/bbl, that almost $60 million we are sending to Russia daily. It costs $19.21 to produce a barrel of oil in Russia. Today, oil is at $106.00 a barrel. That's $86.79 a barrel profit for Russia for a total daily profit of $51,640,050, from just the US. That's an awful lot of money to purchase weapons to kill Ukranians with and to stock up with weapons, to kill Americans. Keith

We are funding the war for Russia thanks to Biden. This is the same Biden that said no one can stand toe to toe with Putin like he can.

Keith I agree with your point but just because Brent hits 106 a bbl, doesn't mean that is what Russian oil is selling for. It is generally a high sulfur, "sour" crude that sells at much lower prices than Brent or WTI. I suspect that if we stopped importing Russian crude, our domestic fuel prices would rise even faster
