I highly recommend you contact your Senators and Reps to urge them to VOTE NO for this package. The last thing we need to do is send more of US tax dollars over to Ukraine, they are getting flooded by the worlds money at this point. We have already sent over a lot of weapon systems and other support mechanisms, enough is enough. The war needs to end in Ukraine, but the last thing we need to do is continue some onslaught of sending money over that likely is going to get wasted.

If only we could have transferred that equipment we left a Bagram...

Of course, Ukraine probably would not have needed anything from Bagram if they had not agreed to the 1994 NPT pushed by the Clinton administration, which resulted in the Budapest Memorandum. The Ukraine had the third-largest nuclear arsenal on the planet but gave those up as part of that treaty. Of course, the US also promised Ukrain protection as part of their (Ukraine) giving up those nukes.

. We are watching history repeat itself, and world leaders are doing little just as in the 1930’s. The Ukraine is Putin’s version of Hitler taking Czechoslovakia. Poland is next, just like 1939, so that $10 billion should be going there.

Heard a bit on the radio the other day. It stated- If you spent $1million EVERY single day beginning with the day of the birth of Jesus Christ, which was roughly 2022 years ago, it would take till the year 8000 or so to equal the amount of National debt. I really can’t fathom a trillion of anything but I do get it when put like this. So in the first year of Jesus’ life you spent $365 million. By this year of 2022 you’ve spent $738billion30million, so we’re not even to a trillion in this scenario…..The National debt is around $26.7 trillion!!!
