I came across a couple spools of #2 twist link chain 75 foot and 80 foot. $40 each on clearance at a local hardware. Haven't bought them yet. Would that size work for beaver, coyote and bobcats? Any better or worse than straight link? Want to try long chain beaver and refit some older traps and chains.

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

Great price.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Twist link lays really nice. Just kind of folds in on itself and flows right down into any hole you dig for excess chain. I don't know on strength on sizes, because I'm cheap and have always bought straight link because it was cheaper, lol. Only twist link I've used was on a couple old traps that had it on them.
