I got these two traps several years when buying a bunch of traps... traps are fine except for that goofy dog...

So, was wondering if they have any extra value to anyone with the goofy dog and mounting bracket on them.

I have pinched my fingers more than once with the goofy dog popping off. If no value to anyone will remove the goofy dog and put real dogs on them.

Montgomery stake and take I believe. Good mink trigger I’d rather have a lighter one then a heavier one for mink.

User traps. No collector value. Fix them up however you want.

Note - the trap from the factory came with a “stake” if you can call it that. It was 12 inches long and about the thickness of a pencil.

Never wax those. You will work a long time before it sets without going off.

I liked them for a tight spot for mink.

Thank you all... I will be picking up a few new dogs at NTA later this year. When you have stiff hands with less strength then desirable, these hair trigger traps aren't for me. I am glad they aren't of collector status.

i remember when those first were introduced. monty had a contest to name the new trap, and it became the "stake 'n take".
