Netflix "Winter on Fire" Good documentary on 2014 uprising in Ukraine, the peoples resolve and fight for freedom. Americans could learn something about unity and protest of a corrupt government from this documentary. The people there have had a taste of freedom and not going to give up to Russia, especially now that they have a military and weapons. A good case for not surrendering guns to an oppressive government.

When watching news on all this, one begins to notice the average age of leadership in Ukraine is under 40. A lot under 30. For a generation that age, they seem to be pretty well squared away. Well aware of all the corruption from the past and they seem determined to rid themselves of it. This invasion by the corrupt is going to be a good lesson on what they need to defend their country in the future.

Since entry into NATO is said to be a non-starter for Russia.........no military help can be counted on from the outside. Their best plan would be to adopt the model of Israel. Bad to the bone. Not a threat to anyone.......and not to be messed with by anyone. A small standing military.....a huge trained reserve military with lethal weapons available as needed.

It seems that is the way it is going a new generation for sure tired of the former government and ready to start new. After watching the documentary it was amazing to see the way the people united and fought off the government. They were ready to go to the end that was very evident, death or freedom. Interesting the former president left in the middle of the night and went to Putins waiting open arms. I wonder how long it will be till the same thing happens here in America.

Russia has always been attacking that land throughout history.

Kosio if you can find it watch Enemy at the Gates. I believe you will enjoy it. It from the Russians side at Stalingrad sp? During WW 2. I thought it was a great movie and one of the first I have seen not based on American action. If you get to watch it let me know what you think.
