I bought one years back because it was on sale at a good price. I didn't need it but figured the kids could shoot it. Walked in a different shop the net day and they were $100 higher before tax conferming I did well. I put it up and forgot about it. 3 months later a shooting happened and the panic buying started. I bought it for $650 out the door and sold it for $1250. It was the entry level oracle model. Latter during bthe Trump slump they were down to $450 @ rual king. Always figured the guy that bough it felt stupid later.

I never shot it so can't comment further other than it's an entry level gun and will be fine. And the price range I have seen is 450-1250.

I got my money back and it paid for one of my silencers less the tax stamp.

Are you buying I'm guessing?

Not a fan. Watched a city cop shoot a 4” cluster with a few out to 6” @25! With a rifle! With a sling! On the bench tolerances are generous. Give Stag Arms a look.

Yes…I have it in 7.62 and it’s went bang every time the trigger has been pulled. It’s killed everything it’s been pointed at. 100 yard groups aren’t the best, but 3” groups serves my needs for a truck gun for pigs and other undesirables. You won’t win any competitions with it, but got it fairly cheap for being chambered in 7.62 (.308).

Ar's are all pretty much the same. I would guess the one the cop was shooting that shot poor the cop was the problem.

I don't see many at the range. Only hear them at theirs twice a year, guessing that's qualification days.

A friend of mine has one and really liked it until he shot my Smith&Wesson sport 2 . His was roughly the same price as mine. It's a decent enough rifle for the money . His just isn't as accurate as mine. Not saying another gun the same make and model wouldn't shoot better but at a 100 yards i could only get 3 1/2" groups with his and under 2" with mine. This was with iron sights so might be a different story with a scope. This is the extent of my experience with that gun, hope it helps,

Friend of mine picked up one in 308 from his dad. Heavy 18" bull barrel, scope and bipod. He only got it about 2 weeks ago, but the day he got it he put 50 rounds through it and had one jam, and said at 300 he put all 50 rounds in under 6" group. Heavy but balanced well when I picked it up. About all I can tell you about them.

I don't know what the US military requires accuracy wise for the rifles it buys... But it isn't anything spectacular. Anything in the torso at 300 yards? So 4-6 moa?

I would assume anything you buy built to minimum mil-spec would probably be in that ballpark.

If you want bugholes or cloverleaf groups at 100 then you will probably have to pay more or build it yourself.

If you're satisfied with battle rifle accuracy then DPMS is probably as good as any.

Mine has killed several coyotes. I did replace the trigger and compensator. 1" groups with factory Hornady 55gr HP ammo at 100. Vortex 4-12x44 if I recall correctly. I've shot coyotes out over 300. I don't shoot paper after sighting it in years ago.

Got a AR10 in .308. shoots minute of pig. no forward assist. trigger is junk, but that can be said about all factory AR's. It dont cycle sub-sonics, but its still a fun gun.
