It's been a bit too cold to tap around here. Next week just might be what we have been waiting for. I have a new home hacked evaporator pan, and pans, barrels, and wood stove kits to build a couple more. i'm ready to tap, but just for the adrenaline flow, I'd like to see a couple of your set-ups.

This the only pic I have of our evaporater in the new sugar shack we built last year.

We've since finished the interior with tongue and groove pine made from some trees on the property. Plus the hoist we put on the ceiling for cutting up deer in comfort. Now just gotta find some deer!

We plan to tap next week in Northern Wisconsin.

Way too much snow to even access my maple trees for now. If we get the warm weather the weather guesses are talking about then maybe in a few weeks.
