I use a fibertuff packbasket with lure compartment for traps/setting tools. Use a makita tool bag for setting cables.
I do want to switch to a bag with more compartments than the makita. I have looked at the deluxe trappers tote, the one you posted looks good also.

Like the handle on that. I'm going to check those out. Could use 1 for trapping and another for tools at work.

Makes it nice when the only place to put it down is in the mud and slop. And it adds strength to the bag. I use mine when I trap beaver.

Thats what I use Bruce. I trap primarily out of a pickup. Use a 4 wheeler and trailer if it gets muddy so I dont track up pastures and hay mows. I take a jar of bait and some urine, a 28 ounce estwing straight claw framing hammer, a roll of cut in half wax paper, a salt container, two rebar stakes, a sifter, and a trap to the set. It will hold all that stuff. I also keep a few tags, a small crescent wrench, pair of slip joint pliers, a screwdriver some tie wire and 3-4 snares in there. A couple pieces of #9 wire rolled up too. i carry a couple lures I like when making a cat set. I save one gallon ice cream buckets to carry dry dirt to the set. I keep dry dirt in 5 gallon buckets in my pickup bed. Once you get everything where you want it you can hop out or off, grab what you need in seconds and start setting.
On the 4 wheeler I have a cheap plastic walmart tote fastened to the rack behind the seat. I drilled four holes in the bottom of it. Two 1 inch by 3/32 steel pieces bought at a hardware store cut to extend over two of the holes, holes drilled in the steel, are used to bolt it on the 4 wheeler. I can put enough stuff in there to trap out of. I just take gear out of my pickup and put what I need in the tote. Go take care of business and load the 4 wheeler back on the trailer to go to the next property.
I cut the strap off. Was always in the way

*purchase a bag long enough for your trowel & driver to fit inside Bruce, years ago I use buckets with nail bag tied on. Seem to be tipping over in truck or on creek bank. Been a long time, can't remember when, but switched to bags. First was store bought, then a Leggett's bag, then a better/longer store-bought bag. I bought a round bag with pockets at Flea Market. I use this for carrying lure nowadays. Nowadays I use a few Dressler bags. A local trapper has upholstery shop.

Looks nice.I had a badlands bag but when I looked at it this spring the squirrels had totally ruined it chewing it to pieces.

But their bag is tiny and i have stuff sticking out of both ends.
