For a lil while this morning, I thought quit , say we got have 200 parts done in hour an half , never happen, humanely impossible , never heard anything negative when was told this but talk about some hard earn money the last 2 days, earn every cent of it,20 times over, no wonder such turnover rate, I can't imagine work there after 62 old, just wonder how much work should have put out in factory , other day the one control for 2 operaters not on an supposed be an discover machine could be cycle 1 operater , I complain an was turn on, I was stick my head an upper body hundreds times to get big part out inside machine that if cycle, it been chop off whatever in machine , but really need have robots if want that much work, almost dehydrated an go restroom once in hrs at break as nonstop work between breaks not second off, this become a slave outfit for some , after work there 5 hrs, ruins rest day , exhausted next job,beaver trap next week a lil, not lot enjoyment with work go on like that

been a long time since I had to work for $15 an hour. That's like $12 to $13 an hour with today's inflation. Dang it would be hard to get out of bed for that.

I would say for 15 an hour you should work at a steady pace where you won't get hurt but do give them a decent days work every day.

Fair pay is whatever you and your employer agree upon for the work being performed. If you feel $15 an hour is too low for the work you have to perform, that's fine,nobody forces you to work anywhere.

I 100% agree with your productivity statement. There's 9 of us in the shop and about half do about 5 hours worth of work in an 8 hour day. A few of the guys made comments about it and asked me what I thought. I told them thier lack of productivity doesn't bother me and I said as long as it doesn't keep me from getting my job done, I don't care if they find a corner and go to sleep, I'm not there boss and I don't pay them so I don't care what they do. I can't do that. The day goes by much faster if you stay busy.

i work commercial hvac ,i was not happy with my pay level so i quit the company , and went to work for their competition, 6 months later my old supervisor calls wanting me come back//4 dallor hour raise/2 weeks of vacation /heath ins immediately. you can't just say u will quit --nobody loves you till your gone!!

Dave you should look for other jobs there is likely a place paying 16-8 an hour with benefits who would be happy to have someone who knew how to show up on time

some of his friends work at the cheese plant make 19 with benefits and work 12 hour shifts with all the over time they are willing to take

I've asked coonman several times on here why he doesn't go get a CDL. He has a truck so must drive so what's the problem, couldn't pass something...? I'm sure he could find a safer environment with a CDL than sticking his head instead of a hydraulic press. But whatever, coonman will just coonman. You can make 15 an hour about anywhere around here 19 to start is common. Find another job then quit the one you have. Never quit first.
