I'm blaming all this on somebody. So does it matter, if I have been voting for it for 50 years? blush

He gets his kicks seeing us struggle and suffer. Is spending the weekend in his walled Delaware mansion with not a care in the world. But not to worry, Kamala has got our back.

MMT is becoming more mainstream every day.

The majority of the people don't know what causes price inflation. The vast majority

Wouldn’t it be nice if schools went back to teaching basic fiscal responsibility and the reality of money as you say 9r?
Instead they teach young people they probably weren’t born the gender they think they are and other such gibberish.
Is it because today’s teachers themselves are immersed in debt and wouldn’t know enough to teach it?

"If a budget isn’t in place by Oct 1, the start of the fiscal year, the government could shut down.

Congress avoids shutdowns by passing a short-term budget bill maintaining current spending levels called a “continuing resolution,” or “CR.” These give lawmakers more time to either write the 12 individual budget bills, or wrap them altogether in one overarching budget called an “omnibus bill,” which directs federal spending across all of the 12 appropriations areas."

Milton Friedman famously said, “Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon in the sense that it is and can be produced only by a more rapid increase in the quantity of money than in output.” We are currently engaged in a test of this proposition.

Is he wrong in your estimation?

No, I estimate he's 100 percent correct.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not a student of economics and make no claim to knowing much about it but it seems obvious to me printing large sums of money only dilutes its value.

Its a good plan-make russian fat cats pay the reparations for their responsibility in Putins war.

I have to admit, I don't understand how any country can decide to confiscation property of a citizen of another country. Spoils of war? We are not at war with Russia. The fact that a person is an "Oligarch" I wouldn't necessarily think would mean that all his property could be seized. I heard that there were sanctions against the Oligarchs. What the heck does that mean.

That is the form of government that they have it is run by the rich. Pain compliance the rich will be on Putin to stop or at least that is the train of thought.
