Ditchdiver OP trapper D Joined: Jul 2016 Posts: 3,141 Michigan	Just wondering if anyone has experience with or owns a holster from "The Southern Trapper" holsters. I ordered this one for my S+W 586 L Comp and for $235.00, I'm looking for reassurance The belt clips are removable and you can carry it as an OWB holster (which I will definitely do). Thanks for any replies When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.

I always wanted a "nice" 1911 with a "nice" leather holster, but I have never liked manual safeties. So, I decided to go with a revolver. Lead time is 7-10 weeks, so I patiently wait. When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.

I used to get my holsters custom made out of horsehide by Andy Arratoonian (Horseshoe Leather Products) in England. He'd make them as the orders came in. I have one that saw daily wear for about twenty years and is just starting to get broken in. They aren't cheap, about $150.00. The term "buy once cry once" applies here. Nice holster Ditchdiver! Eh...wot?
