Colorado auction was also held pre-invasion. Market outlook was completely different at that point. That's comparing apples to oranges as far as demand is concerned.

I sold 212 winter ‘rats to a buyer on his way to this sale. He gave me the option of taking $3 nose count for my ‘rats, or, he would haul them to ge udaho sale from Washington free of charge. I opted to take the bird in the hand. My point is, if you love to trap, be glad there are still willing buyers to buy your fur!!

I for one do not think the invasion had much to do with fur prices at the Idaho sale. From what I was hearing it was circling the drain close to a month before. Some how I was shocked it lasted as long as it did.
