My mother made corned beef and cabbage every year as long as I can remember. My wife is actually about half Irish (her mother was a Murphy) and has never had any interest in doing corned beef and cabbage (?..).
Well Paul......it sure does look delicious ! Looks like fried liver with bacon and onions tonight.

St Paddy's Day is my wife's birthday. We are beyond the age of presents, so tonight I cooked dinner and cleaned up (usually we split the duty). It was stir fried onions, peppers, and mushrooms with a bit of habenero, whole grain rice, and venison backstrap medalions cooked to pink inside.
