I have some tanned beaver and would like to make some knife sheath for some nephews. My question - is there an easy way to remove the hair from a tanned hide?

No. Why not leave it on? Would be unique.

Yes but its time consuming, you need a shaving razor to do it after you use some scissors to shorten the fur.

Just use the scissors to shorten the fur close as you can hold with your fingers and then finish up with the razor
just like shaving but don't' use any shaving cream or water dry shave, also go with the direction of the way the fur lay's
not against it.

It works but don't get in a hurry you will nick up the leather !

I tried once before thinking I would take my hair clippers to it. That didn't work. I ended up burning the hair off but that kinda stained it. Might tried to shave one and do one with the fur on.
