Nice action!!

I'm glad you have a market for them down there. Up here, the occasional black walnut in the metro area usually simply just goes to the land fill ground up (branches). I don't know what happens to the main bole, never heard of anyone successfully sending it out of state to be bought by a lumber company. Maybe it happens. No real mills for several hundred miles...

If the trees are from in town, they won’t hardly take them at sawmills around here. They fear metal (nails, etc.) in the log.

How have prices been in the last two years? Didn't know if walnut prices kept up at the same rate as construction lumber.

Last year the true average of jobs was between.$2 .50 and $2.80 per board foot , this year between $3.50 and $4 per board foot . That's a true average from the buttlog to any limb or crotch logs I don't leave much behind
