Whenever I make soup stock or broth I will reboil the meat and bones a bit to make extra broth for dog food deluxe. I take the extra broth, add some of the meat that was in the pot and mix in rice or noodles. The dogs love it and the only extra expense is the rice or noodles. You can do the same thing with lots of food scraps too. It gives them a tasty break from kibble. Some dogs will try to not eat kibble for a couple days after getting a few days of the deluxe food.

Angela, that was the price she paid last week (under $30) She also does the mail order stuff.


If you look at that Walmart link above, the 46lb bag is $25 and the 50# bag is $92 for some unknown reason. Expensive 4lbs of dog food!
