When I trapped in the South West part of Kansas I drove into kansas City and then drove at an angle toward the other end of the state.If I remember correctly their where a lot more trees and hills right below Kansas City.Out where I was trapping the only trees where by the creeks.Mostly cattle ranches out where I was.Is the area where your at still lots of cattle ranches?

Over here there are plenty of cow/calf operations and a few feedlots. A few dairys too. Not as many as further west though.
