Good to know fossil thanks. He is good about checking his 4 wheeler and grandpa makes sure he knows how to do the maintenance on anything he rides.

at 11, you can skip the mini bike and go dirtbike 100cc or up a bit Agree! When I was 11 we had a 100cc dirt bike. As long as he is responsible like you say, and if you think he is ready for it. Also, he gets to work for something to be his. This

Sooner or later, he will get hurt! I have been riding a motorcycle for over 50 years, did I get hurt, yes. But they are fun.

Thanks guys I gave grandpa my ok on the bike and within a half hr he and The Boy were walking out of the store with a Coleman ct200u-exr 196cc lol I met them at grandpa's house, went through the owners manual, showed him what to inspect before riding, how to put oil and gas in. He can pull start it himself and he seemed good to go. He was a bit nervous (blamed me for it from my safety speech) he was awful wobbly but figured out a bit more speed makes it more stable and had a blast. Now he knows he needs to pick up sticks and weed whip before he gets to ride from now on. Grandpa has a happy grandson for sure. That's Awesome!!! Mine had leather saddlebags for picking up turtles...he'll love it

hey can that thing drag a deer
I have thought it would be fun to build one that is more adult size that could drag a deer and would wind out about 10mph and a big muffle to make it quite

I say yes. It’s up to grandpa whether it is a gift or a business transaction. Either is acceptable. In a family even labor should be an expression of love. None family members pay and should pay well.
