Would be the blind leading the blind at this point... haven't been doing it long!

But here are the steps:

Carve lure, epoxy in lip, sand down, seal with polyurethane, epoxy and rotate overnight, paint, seal, epoxy and rotate, epoxy and rotate...

It has always fascinated me, the size and composition of musky crank baits. The colors and hinging on some are so different than anything I have thrown for fish. Nice looking gear, Hutchy.

Did up this glittery walleye last week. Stainless lip, and it also has an internal rattle knocker that's LOUD

Most of the fish I catch are as big as those lures.

I'm guessing they're wood.

How do you get the proper lip placement? Jig. WAG? Hope and pray?

Dave Wiley of Wiley lures, and Joe Bucher both said some of their best catching colors, were poor sellers.
I think the grandma lures people told me the same thing.
