Thanks everyone, she has done ok on light therapy, has a little trouble swallowing correctly sometimes, can talk a little better, might start intensive therapy tomorrow, hoping for the best, thanks so much
Sitting up last night she passed out, the nurses aids right there, I was so scared, I thought something really bad happened so glad she was ok later

My 81 year old Mom went through a stroke several years ago and intense therapy helped her very much. Her speech returned and she regained the use of her arm and leg as well. Took about a month in the hospital and another month at home. Sounds like your wife is absolutely headed in the right direction. Prayers sent for a speedy recovery.

Therapy was hard, I was back home, now staying in her room.
She said it was a lot harder with me gone, I sure hope she can walk again
