Had cataract surgery yesterday. Been the first time to the doctor in 11 years. Hope it is not the start of things. Should be able to see critter sign better.

Hope it went well . Had mine done a few years ago have better than 2020 now. Had needed glasses since I was 6.what a life changing experience it has been.

Doc said I had one starting thinking about getting lenses put in it might be a poor investment at my age? LOL

I enjoyed the trip to getting old. It was a lot of fun.
It was after I made the trip I started to have problems.

if you have insurance that pays for an annual physical and your getting old , take them up on it , they can find a lot of things with annual blood work that let you catch it early , like a good inspection with every oil change catch things before they have done major damage.

I may have avoided my blood clot had I been going regular for blood work each year. some of it once the damage is done , you don't get better you just live different.

your not that old that seeing is a bad investment.

my cousin had cataracts finally got them done I think he is about 72 now when he had it down last year , had no idea the detail in things he wasn't seeing when he first looked down at his hands he didn't even recognize them they were some old mans hands.

with his new eyes he went and manned a ranger station at Big Bend TX this winter. there is life left inyah yet.

The surgery went quick and since yesterday things have gotten better. I was told that I will probably still need cheaters to read but that is ok. But the doctor said my sight out further should be very good. I noticed the problem last summer when I was shooting my bow, of coarse it was my aiming eye (bummer). The doctor did mention my other eye will probably need to be done next year. Saying the problem I have comes on very quick, which it did.

My doctor said at my yearly physical,"getting old, I would not recommend it"

Grandpa kept his cataracts in a jar of something, to show everyone for years...till he died.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes three years ago. I knew my vision was going downhill when my wife was finding more deer than me when in the blind.

Best thing…Doc implanted corrective lens in my eyes, no longer need contact lenses.
