I have one like you except mine is not as wide like the skids cause it can be moved with the 4 wheeler.

The only difference is mine has a small door back by the box
Its came in handy a few times.

Are you making them to sell or are they for your own use?

They look pretty good. I’m not real sure about the wood part. Mine are similar to those but at ground level and on cement with a trough at the back and 6” drain leading to a septic system.

Everything the left touches it destroys

I like that they're on skids to move them around but up here they seem like they would be cold by being up off the ground. That maybe a good thing down south though. How easy are they to hose out?

The kennels themselves look great but a dog needs more legroom than that. I kept my dogs in 6' by 20' runs. Six foot high fence on a concrete slab. Easy to clean and kept their nails trimmed.

If you are hunting the dogs like they suppose to, it should be only a place to rest. Gaps between the boards for cleaning waste. I would also raise the dog house so you could wash off the waste without it getting in the house. There food bowls and dog house away from where you would wash it. I also like angle on the floor going away from the food and the house for water to drain away from them when cleaning. Once you move them, lime works great on the old waste.

I agree with what's mentioned above and would add a bit of shade for the dog so it can get away from the direct heat .
When I had a hunting dog the kennel was 10' x 30' for just one dog and a 6' fence around it with gate .

put some SM styrofoam on the floor of their dog house covered with cheap panelling the dogs will stay warm in the winter even after they move the bedding material away i also prefer smaller coops easier for them to keep warm 2'x3'x2' should be plenty for any hunting dog i have bigger for females that have pups

The wood flor to me is like a wood floor o a trailer. A pain to clean.

The wire bottoms let the mid..(on. Trailer) or dog doo fall through and its extra weight to have move.

Pressure treated wood can be toxic to a dog that lick it's paws.
Wire bottom cages make it easier to clean up crap, but it must be high enough, and above a cement pad to use hose, and needs a sump for the crap/water to go into.
Wire bottom cages can be rough on a dog's paws.
Above ground cages are harder to heat and keep warm.
Urine is corrosive and will eat up metal cages.

The negative that I see is that you are gonna have dogs. The positive that I see is that they will not be in the house. I guess if someone is gonna live with neighbors close by then they should work great.

Don't take this the wrong way. I have two dogs. One just stays within a 200 yards or so of the house. The other thinks she needs to go visit people. There is well over 300 acres that she could roam (and she does) but she has to go to other peoples houses after she is done chasing rabbits. Wish they would have just shot her, I hate having to keep her on a chain. I do let he go once in awhile hoping she has a good time then gets shot or run over.

Re-home that dog, or shoot it yourself. Why would you hope it get's run over and maybe has to lay there for days to die.

Wolfdog, your a smart guy. When you want to improve in anything, your going about it the right way. Open minded people don't mind their ideas challenged.
Well done.

Never had dogs in raised kennels though I've known many beaglers that did. It definitely can keep down issues with worms or disease that might accumulate on dirt. Plus they can be moved to rotate out the areas of dirt impacted. Assuming just the one kennel and enough land.

My preference though is concrete or well packed crusher run.
