Rained here the last couple days.

I don't think I will be sawing lumber today if this keeps up.

It's a relax day there I guess.

I could always try my hand at making some cedar tea never tried it before. I have tried spruce bow tea before.

Well can't sit here any longer going put on the rain gear and head to the back yard to get a fire going in the shed and do some cleaning up and maybe build a new storage shelf.

It’s been fairly dry here seen a tractor that was pulling a cart buried in the mud yesterday I was surprised, also not sure why he drove in the middle of that slough to begin with.

Dont worry, March only lasted 90 days down here.

As with the arrivial of the month of April, it has rained and continue raining for the last 10 days with only about 2 days not!

"So April showers bring May flowers". Not sure but that may be Lilly Pad flowers!

80 degrees here today.

So I ordered parts for the mill got half today hope to get the blades tomorrow as the long weekend is coming.

Wind blowing here going on about the third week 20 mph is considered a mild day now.

Yes I only have about three weeks to get this done and I will be going back to work for the season.


A lot of wood to break down. I have some good friends coming after Easter too help out so it should help me out.

I managed to get some of the old cedar cut today mostly 6x6 for pile bottoms and 1in for t and g but it started to rain 🌧 again 😆

Well the snow dropped about a foot in the last day.

It's the wet muddy months down below.
