Question: Which neck knife do those of you who carry one like best?
Meaning: A small fixed-blade, full-tang knife you carry around your neck (inside your shirt if you want).
I would prefer flat or convex grind for this knife, good price.
This would be for everyday carry. Thanks.
(I looked for a thread on this first but didn't find one)

I carry two, one I can get in the courthouse and one I can’t. Funny. I have that little gerber...... I've noticed can take it in to court house anytime. Keep it in your briefcase. Metal detector guy will mention it, no big deal.

Definitely a Mora. Most bushmen carry mora knife around their neck, tucked inside their shirt.Safest place to carry a sheath knife. The mora has a stout blade that works well with a baton and holds a super sharp edge and easy to touch up or sharpen. It has a good stout comfortable handle with no tang(guard) to get in the way of work, and a sharp point for drilling.

Definitely a Mora. Most bushmen carry mora knife around their neck, tucked inside their shirt.Safest place to carry a sheath knife. That's what I do now. Mora is so light. I usually use the basic one. Very cheap and light. Just looking for something I can baton with I guess, and maybe is a little smaller.

The Mora is a superb knife for baton work. The blade is the same length as your hand is wide at the thumb pad-perfect size.

In waders or a kayak I have come to use one of the small CRKT "minimalist bowie knives" as anything on the belt gets hard to put my hands on in a pinch. I kinda like what you have there Grumley- its a little bigger than what I been using.
Oh, I figured out a way to keep it from bouncing up into my face- save one of the tiny shock cords they use to put price tags on with and you can loop it around a shirt button. I don't rig it up very tight- just enough tension that I wont have to eat the thing if I get "extra graceful" at some point.

That picture is an Edris model, The shieth is designed for neck carry and makes that small handle safer and easier to use. Jist reverse it.
I think that BOCO might be referring to a Mora NO.1 I have both and they are different tools for different uses. I rarely carry either one. Good knives but I rarely neck carry now. That may change again, Not sure.

This is a mora necker, not much blade to baton with... Here is a bush knife by Mora-an actual useful tool that has been used extensively. Its a decent thrower too. I dont know what that yuppie thing is you got but I guess its good for cleaning your fingernails, lol.
