Eagleye OP trapper E Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 3,897 Wisconsin	I found these at the bottom of a quarry that I was diving in the early 1980’s- clips and cartridges were all separate- reassembled them and hung them in the workshop ever since… bottom of cartridge reads LC9. This is the place to ask?

warrior trapper Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 25,577 Georgia	There is a BFA, blank firing adapter, that attaches to the flash hider that plugs the muzzle just enough to provide the needed back pressure for the action to cycle as it would with regular ammo. This allowed for realistic combat training. Later recoil activated lazer firing modules would be added that would be paired with individual suspender receiver systems that would go off if a soldier was "hit". When I was in a hit meant you reached into your top left pocket and pulled out the card that had been placed there by the medics to determine if you were KIA or just wounded. If wounded first aid would be given in accordance with the type of "wound". If KIA you still had to be evaced out to sit it out for a time before being allowed to return as a replacement depending on whatever scenario the brass was playing out.

He did it as a prank. The blank shot a paper wad and it put the recipient in the hospital. We never saw the guy who did shoot the other guy after that. I don't think he thought the blanks were in any way deadly. We are told not to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but are told to judge all gunowners by the actions of a few.
