Seen a guy today that had his whole face done. Aldo had a sleeve that was solid black. Not sure if that was a cover or what.

As far a women I've dated both and prefer non tatted. For one reason the ones without never pestered me to get a tat.

I don't mind a tastefully placed tattoo. They are very individual forms of expression that mean something to the person that has them. If you don't like them, that's on you. Don't judge a book by its cover, unless you're a opinionated trappers member. Which there are a lot of..

Not so much "Your witness your Honor"
Kinda more, "You witness your Honor."

I sat alongside a guy last evening who said he'd spent $22,000 on tats. I had no idea they cost so much.

My wife’s tattoo artist charges $100 per hour. Tattoos aren’t expensive, GOOD tattoos are expensive

I know a young man and his wife that don't have a pot to pee in, he doesn't work she does, 4 kids they spent their stimulus checks on tattoos. What a waste.

My generation the only people that had them we sailors women didn't.
Tattooes on women are not sure attractive

I’m not a fan. Thought about getting one myself a time or two but then thought “who puts a bumper sticker on a Ferrari?”

Well one thing that this thread has shown me is that people who like tattoos sure do get all judgemental about people who don't like them and visa versa.

To those of you who are all about not judging. Good luck with that. Everyone judges everyone and everything in every interaction you have. And there is no way to stop it that is how you form opinions about things. It's how you determine who is trustworthy who you like or don't like. It's human nature and you will never stop it. Just telling someone not to judge, you yourself are infact judging. You judged them for being judgemental and are declaring your verdict in telling them not to.

We counsel with people often about a subject that is out there, but you only really get to it (so it seems) when people want to have difficult, or truthful, or productive, or fruitful conversions.
It is that,

some people want their lives to matter. Not all people but some people.
And in that, there are ways people go about making that happen.

When I asked the guy about the $22,000 for the tats, he said that his brother is a tattoo artist and that his brother still charged him $22,000 for the work. Hm. Ok. sounds like a family matter I told him. He then told me, (he's 29) that before he leaves this life, people are gonna know about him. I told him, "Really?" I Said "How so?" He said that well some people make a name by mass shootings, some people make a name by suing somebody and making a bunch of money, and some people own a bunch of stuff and that gives them status, but that now people get tattoos to show everybody what is really important to them. I asked him what his tattoos were and he had some dates from funerals of kin, he had one of a ghostly face because he'd like to be reincarnated, and he had one of his dog, and he had one of the sun coming up which looked to his other tattoo which was the moon setting and I told him that there sure was quite a bit. He said he's gonna have more done.

He asked me "exactly what do you do here?" I told him I'm a chaplain and that I support people in various ways. He told me that he's pretty good and that when he dies he'll be even better because he'd like to be an angel and time travel to other galaxies if that's possible.

"Joe" was quite interesting and has a wife and two kids and is an IT technician at a major firm in Dallas. His hospital visit was for his intestinal cancer. It doesn't look like he's got 3 more years in him at this point.
Just another soul who wants to have an impact in this life.
People are sure searching in all sorts of places, aren't they.

Blessings,
Mark
