I prefer no tattoos. No thanks to the rest of the piercings, tattoos, mutilations, and scarring.
Traditional ear piercings are sexy, especially when I have the privilege to give beautiful dangly earrings as gifts. I prefer stylish long naturally curly hair. I prefer a woman who is tall, has an athletic curvy body, positive attitude, high intelligence, lots of charisma, a great smile, and an easy laugh. No wonder I married my wife!
A buddy got a tattoo following his divorce. On his butt cheek. “Nobody owns me!”

As a woman, I think women getting tatted up is stupid. I guess they think they look cool.

Wonder why so few people in the younger generations aren't workaholics like the generations before them? Times-they-are-a-changin' Younger folks look at their world and see how well their parents/parent/alphabet labeled/genderfied/however/wherever/whenever worker bees are making out and; A. Decide their identity isn't going to be in what they "do." Previous generations would celebrate work promotions!!!! This generation doesn't even talk about work that much. It's a "non-identity" topic. B. Today's generation wants to have an identity in what they're known for. Tats are on the rise (I don't mind them one way or the other, but I'm an n or 1) as are anything related to making a name.... starting a business, creating a blog, crazy hair colors, all manner of fashion wear. Anything that says "look at me" and see what I think.

And on today episode of old white conservatives complaining well you tee'd up an easy mark for them, Seriously, tho when you have the ability to see society evolve/change over 1/2 a century it gives you a perspective. Its easy for one who has not to be critical of those that have. An old saw goes something like this, "when I was 18 my Dad was an idiot, when I turned 30 I was amazed at how smart he got" .

Back in the 30s nobody had anything. A man set himself apart from others by his work ethic. Times are definitely changing. Nowadays people declare their individualism with rear-window stickers and personalized license plates.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Don't you own your own business? Are you not a preacher? Do those not involve making a name for yourself?

Tats are just another indicator of bad personal choices. There others, the more there are the better off one is staying away.
So, you judge people before you even get to know them?

I’ve thought it ironic that by getting something that shows their individualism they end being just like all the others. I rarely saw a tattoo growing up unless it was a man that got it in the service, like a ship anchor if they were in the Navy. I’ve wondered how they’ll all look in the nursing home, especially the lower back ones.
