Any one mount a trail camera on a pile of rocks? No trees where I want to mount my camera.

Depending on the face of the rock, maybe velcro tape. Stuff is very sticky.

Just doing what I want now.

If you can wrap the strap around a boulder you can mount it on it. May have to wedge something behind the camera to get the right angle, so it isn't pointing at either the sky or the ground.

I should have took a picture. I just made a pile of large rocks. Then I straped it on with the strap that came with it looked good.

A clump of grass in the cameras view, makes them go for a pee post.
Will the large rocks drift in with snow a cover everything blocking the view ?

Trail camera i mounted at Elanik Pass in the Richardsons. Just hope a big wind does not knock it off or a bear use it for chew toy. You guys think it might work?

Got that right- Oh a nice feature to rub my itchy Winter butt fur.
you might get some interesting results

just like all the old whaling stations show up and google earth IR because of all the Nitrogen spent in the soil and the plant growth around them and every creature travels there to get micro nutrients

still need a pee post 20 feet infront

Use 16 ga wire to secure it to a rock, just like wiring up a beaver drown weight

Till that day.....
