I don't condone breaking the law but why would a person put some much effort into saving a crow. Probably a young person messing around. I remember when we were in high school there were all kinds of pigeons that roosted on the ledges. A buddy made a home made blow gun out of a thermometer tube from science class. We would shoot at them at lunch time just to see if it could be done. I'm sure back then if one was found wounded money and time wouldn't be wasted trying to save it.

Are blowguns illegal to hunt with in Texas? The only states blowguns are illegal to own in are California and Massachusetts.

Poor choice but then again the crow might have been pulling the rubber trim off of the car windows (dealership was in the news some time ago about the very thing) and living in city limits people do what they need to do.

On top of all of that, crows are the terrorists of the animal world, just ask the owls and hawks

I know some states have a season for them .

The anti hunting/trapping and hound hunting group is trying to get crow season banned. They want people to use them for food or something if there’s a season for them.

We supposedly have a season. But WV D.N.R says a crow is always on it's way to or from an act of depredation,lol.

I know people who literally eat crow.

What ever kid snuck up close enough to a crow to shoot a blow gun dart in it will be a good hunter.

I am glad our always whining about being broke government has enough money to spend who knows how many thousands on a crow. Bill should go to whatever wingnut called it in stead of putting it out of its misery.

Some animal rights idiot probably found a injured crow on the side of the road and put the dart in it. Then made a bullcrap stony out of it.

Some of these folks would literally have a stroke if they ever rode a trap line or went on a hunting trip. Kill a crow and save a nest!!

we have a very strange crow season and I am not sure why it is what it is.

sept 17th to Nov 17th I guess I get why it closes for gun deer season they don't want bored gun deer hunters taking a poke at the crow out on yesterdays gut pile

then on again Jan 18 to March 20th

I just don't understand why it doesn't open back until Jan 18th

Maryland’s crow season is August thru March , Wednesday thru Saturday only?!

Odd but must have something to do with the total days of the year allotted to hunt them.
