Like I said on another thread , ADC is taking over . How many hobby trappers are going to quit their day job to become an ADC trapper . Money talks , and when you can't sell fur , you either trap for meat , or ADC .

Do you see any issues with requirement of a form completed by landowner to be submitted with feet. Wonder how long before the landowner gets tired of doing that. Guess you could freeze them till done with the job.

I see the landowner shopping for the best cut he can put in his pocket since the W9 is filled out by the person who turns them in. And some landowners will look the other way as to where the beaver were caught if they get a big enough cut of the bounty.
There are lots of reasons that bounty programs generally do not accomplish what they are set up to accomplish.

I'd think alligators would keep the gator population down. ?? Beavers use to be thick where I live. Now, alligators are thick - and beaver gone.

Hopefully there isn't any longchainers in the area. Looks like there aren't any trappers period.

Edit...never mind. I've been totally ignorant!!! I also just learned that West Memphis, Arkansas is a big rice producing area. Also just learned there is a West Memphis, Arkansas.
