Calamari is one of my favorite foods. We can't buy it at any of the grocery stores near us anymore.

Thanks Steve, I'll check it out. The 2 closest Walmarts to me have not had any calamari for a long time. I'll have to stock up if they have it back in.

I like it all but prefer the rings which is the body. Are you thinking of octopus legs?

Also used it for bait. Worked great for bait but I could never eat it. Might be good but not for me

I always thought it tasted pretty good... But I got tired of chewing on it for 20 minutes. Every piece I ever ate was like chewing on one of those pink erasers.

Pretty sure that is octopus. Really good balanced in cider vinegar then smoked. Locally marketed as Kraken.

I won’t eat squid for reasons similar to what 3Fingers spelled out. If you barf it up you most likely lost your taste for it.

Ha ha yeah no for sure I posted the pics then couldn't get back in. It was pretty good, not great not bad. I couldn't taste any difference between skin and sucker on or peeled. The wife wasn't having suckers on her salad... I'll try a few other ways and see.

I always traded the ones caught in shrimp pots with a Pilipino gal. She got octopus and I got pancit.
