i use either a 160 or 220 and set it right in the hole they are using most..if there is more than one then cover the other hole up and stick the bg there...if u have trouble gettin them then try sticking a piece of apple on the triggers....in one summer i think i caught like 10 hogs in a short time span of 2 weeks

How quickly y'all forget (except Coydog33) ... I made a big long post on g-hoggin not too long ago ... oh well, here a few pictures for you. Can't remember nothing too graphic in any of the g-hoggin pictures to get'em whacked other than just being caught!?!

160's, 220's and snares are my tools of choice

using 110's is a flat out JOKE!!!

i use a 4-6" loop. with the loop on the ground. i set them up on slide wires so the 'hogs cant get back in the hole or under the dwelling.

The larger body grips, instead of footholds, have been my tool of choice trapping over the years for the few times I trapped them. I found out early on, especially with a long spring, if some of those big boys could get back in the hole, they could sometimes get enough traction and managed to pull right out of the trap. I've lost more than one that way with a #1-1/2.

They are good eating.

2 labs, we can use 160's here in ny.
it was the 220 that got us.
160's are still legal on land if im not mistaken.

i've been using footholds this year.
last year i used coni's.

heres a pic of one caught in a #1 duke.
