I knew a guy trapping in the city of Burlington IA that caught 3 bobcats in coon sets a couple years before Iowa had a bobcat season.

I wish I had the know how to put a video on here. I caught 3 in the edge of my yard this year. 2 big Tom’s and a adult female. I’ve done lots of rabbit habitat work around the house so I can turn the beagles out and have a quick race. Those jokers keyed in on the rabbits. It cost them. It sure looks like good cat country around your place.

I only see it for maybe 3 seconds , big an no tail, with what look like the points on ears, it is about 3 to 350 yrds to railroad tracks an brush an more north , lots woods an bluffs an streams, trees on way, an tress in lots to south, never trap in row up north here in years hardly any even back then as no tresspass signs all over, lot small farms north town with lots different landowners, very picky about tresspass on private wood land,, mostly there no shoulder on roads to park, gravel roads, very few places go as lots driveways to residences , the way it fenced , the many no tresspass signs all over, am the places u want trap along ditch, not accessible without permission , never do much north town, none in long time, get permission, lots small landowners, with all no tresspass signs, lot move out city in country with 2-5 grand homes, lots free roam cats an dogs, coon hunter country , south here or other dire toons is more accessible to trap with or without permission
