What’s a fair price for mileage ....traveling to check beaver traps ( nuisance trapping) ...with these high gas prices ? And thanks

I charge customers (not trapping) the IRS mileage reimbursement rate which is currently 58.5 cents per mile

IRS rate for last year was about in the mid 50 cents per mile. That is what you can claim as a business expense for all trapping related mileage. If you don't keep those records and you are getting paid for catching the animals then you can negotiate a fee that the person can pay you or you wish to charge. If you can't or won't come up with a transportation cost or fee just ask more for setting up or catching.

wow and you truck only goes 12.5 miles per hour
you must have someones dirty gas going into that truck

normally it is $ 1 per mile charge even though the IRS is a year behind in their calculations
( that 40$ barrel back in the start of c-19 put a monkey wrench in the formula)[font:Arial Black][/font]

Depends on what you drive. If your car has a 389 and uses more gas and looks good too. I'd charge a premium. Lol.

That's what I got on my last job. When he hesitated I asked him how much he had invested in his hunting gear.
