warrior trapper Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 25,592 Georgia	Only an old beekeeper knows what those are. Fortunately I'm an old beekeeper. They're frame pins for supporting wired wax foundation. Foundation is the wax or plastic sheet template we install in the frame for bees to draw wax on. Wired wax comes with vertical crimp wire embedded already. The foundation needs further support either by threading horizontal wires across the frame through predrilled hole or by slipping those pins in to catch the outside vertical wire.
