Went in an old house trailer i have for storage and was looking out for coons in it. Whew,Whew did i kick a big one out from under a piece of paneling and no where for him to go as I was blocking the way out. He avoided me and I avoided him. This thing was HUGE,even the skull. Ill put a light in today and tonight im sure it will leave. Could be babies in there but Im thinking it was a boar. Caught many triples before and this thing dwarfed them. Never caught a dakota coon this big and some of those are really big

4X is big.. keep in mind Nafa. Used to have a measurement for 6x raccoon that measured over 42 in tip of nose based tail stretched and dried. They usually had just lump them all into the 5x category... not usual around this country but certainly not unheard of

It is not unusual to get 5X coon here. I would say it is more common to get a 6X than a 1X, unless summer trapping. He said there was a coon in the hole.

Biggest coon I ever saw was a spring roadkill that was bigger than the neighbor's duck dog.

That is a picture of a duck dog. He would retrieve ducks and geese on both land and water.

Biggest one I have ever seen came out from the ditch as I was heading out turkey hunting one morning in the dark. Hitting him just about put me off the road.

My son had the same thing happen. He's an experienced bear hunter and was not sure if he had hit a small bear till he found it in the ditch. Many hundreds of dollars in damage to his car.

Those critters don't live alone. His relatives and drinking buddies will be visiting your property. If it was my property I'd be setting for that guy and his relatives!
