I have the northern property now together with my Godfather. Very smart man, designed and built the thermo nuclear generator that sits on the moon, among many other things.
Talk to him every other day. Last Friday no answer from his home. I went and found him at about 2:30 in the afternoon.
He was a hoot, already miss him. 95 is a good run. He was army and most proud of his team who repaired and rebuilt choppers for the guys during Nam. Our door up here has always been open to the Vets, especially the Nam Vets. Hunting, fishing, and uncountable hours of memories they shared, laughed, and cried over. He unintentionally helped unlock a lot of mental doors. RIP Unc.
A smile and a look up if you have the time, he’d never ask for anything more.

Unc was the most recent of 4 who were all close to me, in the last 3 weeks. Found out this morning another is down to hours. Gets a bit wearing.
