I have not seen a scrap metal thread within the last couple of days. Here's my scrapyard pricing Bare bright copper $3.85. no. 1 copper is $3.75 No. 2 is $3.55. cas iron rotors $13/ 100lbs. Sheet steel is $10/ 100lbs. Cars are $10.50 /100lbs. Thank you for your time.

Copper $3.83, rotors $341/ton and cars $335/ton. Tin $235/ton.

I have been retired for a year now and just got back from the junk yard . Just in the last two weeks i have made just under $ 2000 cash hauling scrap . The prices are high right now . A little work for tax free money . :

they are only 1/2 of what it should be

Al has been over 1.25 for weeks

220 a ton for shred steel. 260 for heavy prepared steel. 70 cents/lbs for clean aluminum.

1.75 clean Brass yesterday. 3.80 bare bright. 3.60 for #1 copper. Not hauling any sheet in 100.00 a ton currently here

Heck aluminum cans are .70 cents a pound around here. I havent seen them over .30 cents in years.

Separate the tops and bottoms from the paint and get double for that and the painted goes as 70++

I just took a load of aluminum cans in last weekend.90 lb miscellaneous appliances/tin 17$ a 100lb

Steel dropping here.
#1 15 down from 18 a 100.
Others look steady.

I've heard of these higher al prices.
Might make some calls if I can get a load cleaned.

I hit the peak cpl weeks back, = rare.
