Good job Pawnee, keep on quitting. I myself quit numerous times. I was hooked for over 30 years and hated myself every time I took a big dip. I even kicked it once for 2 years and went back on it.....mostly Cope, but everything else at times. I then quit around Y2K and would only have a can when I made my yearly December trip to the U.P. to trap Marten and Fisher. I craved the chewing near as much as the trapline! Then, in Dec. of 2007 my All Purpose Boy and I left for the U.P. and I bought a can of Cope and dug right in. Within about 45 minutes we stopped so my boy could coffee up at a convenience store and I got nauseous from the dip! He didn't cut the old man a bit of slack! That right there was the last can I ever bought. Glad I did it and stuck with it til it took. I have zero craving to dip, not like I did for months after quitting. I do, however, get my mouth watering if I happen to be standing near when a fellow pops the lid on a fresh can. My mouth is watering even writing about it. Hang in there.
