They are HORRIBLE in central Indiana!
I have almost decided to hang it up for turkey and mushrooms. I have brushed off a countless number from my clothes and have had at least one attached to me. God, I hate those little buggers.

Had a couple climbing on me so far. Been archery turkey hunting a couple weeks ago...... no ticks found. But now shroom hunting a few have found me. Pretty much soak my pant legs with deet. It helps !

Haven't seen one yet, I usually will get 1 or 2 all year long.

Been out burning the prairie and the woods, I'm convinced it helps.
