Came down with covid this morning, so after a morning fish I'm isolating at my trap cabin to keep away from everyone lol

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Today it was a gold husky jerk. Lol.

People might think it's just big fish After big fish, but the reality is, there are lots of mediocre days too.

Hutchy it is a 10 day isolation, 5 days after the last positive test
Sure hope you don't run out of butter for frying the fish up

Decent fish? I would say way more than decent.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Interesting when you go into the old trappers cabins there was always a 10 gallon round tin tub of Crisco Lard that went in every fall.
Then used to store things like clothing so the mice would not chew once empty.
Some places had them lined up under the bed about 5 cross-wise.
Just think how much fish was battered and how much bannock was deep fried to empty those tubs

Too bad you got the Chinese virus!
Stay strong and get well soon.
I miss those great days fishing on Georgian Bay and want to go back!
